a note from the designer
Many years ago, I was fortunate to work under the mentorship of a leading Canadian designer who instilled the importance of personalized design service. With each detail in place, down to the thoughtfully styled bookshelves and pressed guest towels, we were showing clients the magic of a beautiful home.
That desire to create magic in each client's home has stayed with me, and is at the forefront of our firm’s mission. In addition to designing functional and liveable spaces, we are proud to tailor each project to the needs, tastes and stories of our Clients.
As a Designer, my involvement can begin early on, at the pre-building phase, during planning with Architects and Builders. In other cases, there may be a room in your home that has great potential. My role is to seamlessly lead you through the design process from start to completion.
One of the most important things for me as a Designer is that I create a home that reflects you. Our memories are embedded in the places we’ve been, including our homes. For some projects, the mandate involves incorporating a family heirloom or keeping true to the history of the home. For others, it is simply a clean slate, and together we curate the full vision for the space. Whichever the case may be for your project, I will take all considerations to make it yours.
Last Thanksgiving, I received a call from a Client whose home we had recently decorated. She was eager to tell me how beautifully the home had functioned for their large crowd, and how wonderful it was to look around, mid-evening, and relish in their guests' enjoyment of their much-loved new home.
I look forward to speaking with you about your project.
